How my capturing moments story starts
I love taking pictures since I was kid. I'm not sure why tho. It enjoys me taking shots of every moments I have, I think? Time is precious. Every seconds of the day leads me to a moment, no matter how little it is. I've decided to create another instagram account for my work. I'm not a pro photographer but I would love to share the moments I have in pictures. I would be very happy if you follow my other instagram account which is @rezekiartwork.

Melbourne Life
I've lived in Melbourne, Australia for almost 3 years. The reason I come here is to get my bachelor degree. I study IT at Deakin University. I've met a lot of great people here. They're all awesome. I really had an amazing time in Melbourne like literally, no kidding bro. Its actually nice that I get to live with friends instead of parents. I am so blessed that all my friends here love road trips as much as I do so we always have a trip often. We've created such amazing moments and sweet memories. Since there are lots of memories, I'm gonna post pictures more than writing it in words.
Let's starts with my first 4 months in Melbourne. I made a few friends. Why few? because most of them are my friends from Jakarta so I already know them before. Its Trimester 3 anyways so there's not much of people in Melbourne. Its summer. Most of them are off for holidays.
This is the first hang out. First people I've met when I've arrived at Melbourne are in this picture below. They're nice people to be honest. They've helped me groceries shopping and settled my life here for the first time.
Talking about concert, I've also attend several festivals here in Melbourne. I've attend Big Day Out, Soundwave, Future Music Festival and of course everyone's favorite festival, "Stereosonic". I love almost all genres of music but trance and indie are my favorite so far. So other than me chillin' to the song of Last Dinosaur or other indie music, I could also rave to Calvin Harris's songs. You know exactly what I mean.
I attend Big Day Out festival on January 2013 and this is the only picture I have. Apparently, I've lost the rest of the pictures and it pissed me off. Actually, I don't lose it. I have it in my laptop but I'm too lazy searching for it. I've posted some in instagram tho. You can check out my instagram but you have to keep on scrolling down. Its 2013 pictures, what did you expect right?!
I attend Stereosonic festival on December 2013 and had so much fun. Calvin Harris is my favorite. It is the first #twodays experience for this festival. They have sick lineups. The #twodays experience for this festival just happened on 2013 and 2014. They won't do a #twodays experience this year (2015). If you love raving so much, you need to attend this festival. Why? the ticket is not that expensive and they always have sick lineups. One thing you need to remember: "Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat".
I attend Soundwave festival on February 2014. The lineups for 2014 is not as sick as 2013. People keep asking me why do I attend it if its not as sick as the 2013 lineups. Well I gotta say because they have GREEN DAY on their lineup! Like cmon when are you gonna watch Green Day performing again?
I attend Future Music Festival on March 2014. They have sick lineups. They have Martin Garrix, Knife Party, Pharell, Dada Life, Hardwell, Phoenix, etc. My favorite part was Martin Garrix and Knife Party. They are so awesome like damn but the ground floor we're standing in Knife Party's stage is full with sand and all of us were raving that it hurt my eyes because the sands were spreading all over our face and body. It really hurt my eyes but it was fun tho.
I've also participate for this thing called "Electric Run". Its really tiring honestly but its kind of fun because I was running with my friends and we played around a little. The reason I participate this event is because I thought that there's going to be colorful lights everywhere but its not. Its not like what I've expected. I expect more colorful lights and weird cool shits like we were in a magic place, like city of dreams, like L*D effect. Yeah, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
We celebrate birthdays here in Melbourne. We love to surprise each other for our birthday. Its like a tradition actually because we always surprise anyone who's having a birthday right on midnight. I think the tradition extinct in this year tho and I don't know why. Anyways, lets start with my birthday!
My birthday (2013). I'm turning 19 and to be honest, this is the best birthday ever! No one has ever surprise me for my birthday like this before. I feel like I have such great friends here who actually care about me. Oh and I received so many gifts like woah man. I remembered the last time I've received many gifts is when I was in 3rd grade.
My birthday (2014). As time goes by, only few people came to surprise me. Some of them disappear. Well, that's life right? People come and go and its not a bad thing at all. We all have different life purpose and that's why sometimes we need to do something different, sometimes we need to go faraway from home, sometimes we need to leave few people behind and search for new ones.
This was other birthday surprises. I don't have all of them tho because I've lost some. I just changed my phone that's why and I don't remember where I put them pic in my laptop. There are a LOT of pictures and videos in my laptop so its hard for me to search for it. I'm really glad that I get invited to surprise dem birthday gentlemen and dem birthday ladies.
We are all students so of course we have a lot of assignments. People think that we're always having fun and waste our money here but that's not true! We're all busy with our own assignments too. Sometimes we even stay for the night in our university doing our assignments. University's subjects are really pain in the ass. It always stressed us out but it's nice to have someone by my side while I'm doing my assignments. I love solidity.
Okay, I have never celebrate halloween before but my friends and I decided to celebrate it here while we're all still in Melbourne. We celebrate it at Luna Park. They have a halloween event there. Actually, some of my friends wants to celebrate it in night clubs but I wanna try something different because going to night clubs on halloween is so mainstream nowadays. Most of them agree tho. It was a blast I have to admit. It was the best halloween ever I guess and probably the first and the last. I was Pocahontas and I love my costume so much although my feet hurts because the heels are too big for my feet. Wondering why I wore that heels? Well, I don't have much time on finding the perfect heels for me that's why.
We support each other as good friends. None of us can give up. We don't want anyone to fail, we want everyone to succeed. Anyways, if any of us is graduating, we always attend their graduation. The graduation is very far tho its in fucking Geelong but that doesn't matter. That is actually the fun part because we're going there with bunch of friends.
On 2013 we were planning to have a trip to Sydney, Australia and we did. That was one of the coolest trip I've ever had. I apologize to Vangny and Ikhsan tho for giving a hard time. They were helping me on my assignment while we're having this trip. I'm really sorry, I can't even forgive myself for that. I mean we're supposed to chill and have fun. Although we're actually having fun but you still don't have the time to rest because of helping me with my stupid assignment.
Every university here have PPIA and every PPIA have their own events. Our event is called "Springnation". Its a sports event. I didn't participate to be a committee or even as a player for any sport activity but I came to the event anyways just to watch. Actually the main reason of me coming to Springnation is because one of my best friend is the project manager of "Springnation" for the year 2014. His name is Ridzky and he's now the leader/chairman of PPIA Deakin.
To be honest, I have such an awesome ride and home here. I really love my car so much that my heart can't even explain how much I love it. Its sad tho because I've sold it. Anyways, my boyfriend and I love to decorate our place with lots of colorful lighting and its really amazing somehow even tho its a bit dangerous putting christmas lights all over the place since it could burn the place down if anything bad happen to it. 202/1101 Toorak Road and ULB814, you're always in my heart.
My friends and I have done fishing too here. Its my first time ever, like seriously I've never fished before in life. It was really challenging and fun tho. The fishes are really annoying because they keep on running away from me. Especially those salmons, they won't even take my bait like wtf. Fuck salmons but I still love eating them raw tho.
Other things that we've done in Melbourne? Well, we went to this go-kart place and do a friendly race there. They also have laser tag near the go-kart place and we did play laser tag too. It was such an amazing experience for me because in all honesty I've never done a go-kart before and I've never play laser tag but I've played paintball tho. The difference is just that paintball hurts and laser tag does not.
When one of our parents came. This is what happens. Togetherness.
Trip! Trip! Trip! Always! Everytime! We're never get bored of road trips even when we're going to the same place all over again and again. As long as we're with friends, nothing is boring.
Oh I forgot to tell you one of the most unforgettable moment for me. It was cray because I've finally met Jeremy Shada, Sam the bassist from Last Dinosaurs and Sean Kingston here! Melbourne is a really great place for meeting celebrities since they actually sell meet and greets tickets unlike in Indonesia but of course America is still the perfect place for meeting celebrities. Jeremy Shada is so handsome and charming in real life like OHMYGOD MARRY ME NOW.
We love to eat, we love to chill, we love to fool around, we love barbeque, we love strolling at the beach, we love jamming, so our day activity is pretty much like...
We love dinner, we love movies, we love poker, we love home session, we love desserts, we love games, we love beers (and vodka for me), we love crown (actually no, I LOVE CROWN), so our night activity is pretty much like...

That is a really long post is it? Well, that's pretty much my life in Melbourne. By looking at this post you probably feel dizzy because its too much. Imagine, this post is not everything that I've done in Melbourne. There's still plenty more but like I've said I don't know where the files are. To sum up I've had an amazing life in Melbourne. I enjoy every second I have here. Why? because when I start working, I will not have lots of free time like this. I might have free time but that doesn't mean my friends are free. We're gonna have different jobs and of course our free time might be different. Its gonna be hard to manage time when we're starting to work. That is why every moment in Melbourne are precious. I will never forget what we've all had in Melbourne. For some of you that I'm not close anymore, that doesn't mean you're not my friend just because we're not close like we used to. You are still my friend and I will never forget the good times we've had here. You may think I don't really care about you but actually I do. I really want to see us all succeed in doing what we've actually wanted soon enough. When times get rough, remember when we support each other here, remember all the good times we've had here, don't give up so easily. We're all in this together thru thick and thin. Now this is my first road trip ever in Melbourne! We went to this place called "Rye Beach" and "Port Sea". Honestly Port Sea was my number one favorite place to chill and runaway in Melbourne. I have to admit that its the best beach here. That's my opinion tho.
I can say that I'm lucky because I come when Coldplay's going to have a concert here. Isn't that awesome? And yes I've made it to Coldplay's concert. It was amazing as fuck man! I wish I could attend more of their concerts. I could say it is the best concert I've ever watched. I'm still waiting for the Ghost Stories tour.
